We conduct testing by simulating a power failure by turning off the power main. When the main power is out, the emergency lights should turn on as they are battery operated. Upon completion we provide a document that outlines the performance of your system and a report that you can show fire marshalls.

In case of damage and wear, part of our servicing is to provide replacement batteries and bulbs, and chargers and fuses as needed to keep your emergency lighting units functioning properly when you need them. FireShield also provides high quality, brand-new exit and emergency lights prepared and on stock when you need replacement. We also offer LED exit lights as they save power and last longer. If needed, we provide you a quote for any necessary parts that need to be replaced according to Ontario’s Fire Code after our inspections and tests are completed.
