Fire Alarm Inspections

Each check ensures all components are functional and free from impairment.

The following are tests completed during each inspection:

• Smoke and heat detector tests.
• Notification appliance audibility and intelligibility test.
• Battery load test.
• Power supply test.
• Manual pull stations test.
• We also check all testable devices connected to the Fire Alarm System.

There are Fire Alarm components which require inspections at weekly or monthly intervals, while others require quarterly, semi-annual or annual inspections. Most manufacturers recommend an annual test after installation of a fire alarm system. If you believe a device or the system isn’t operating as intended, it’s best to schedule an annual inspection to ensure the systems integrity is maintained in the event of an emergency.
