FireShield also specializes in fixed gas detection systems for industrial, mining, and commercial applications. We cater to all of your gas detection needs, from equipment & parts to commissioning and onsite calibrations. Our certified technicians are factory-trained and will ensure your gas detection system is working as intended. We put our best foot forward to ensure your building is safe and operating efficiently for all your occupants.

With our years of experience working with property managers, building owners, and operators we know that you are busy and deal with challenges daily. Gas detection equipment require regular calibrations as sensors will drift based on the elements around them. Depending on whether the drift is towards either greater or lower sensitivity, the sensor will trigger false readings and result in false alarms, inefficiently set off air handling units, or not set off an alarm when it should.

When conducting calibrations, we apply a test gas to all sensors and make necessary adjustments to keep detectors operating at maximum efficiency. This provides a safe and energy-efficient environment. As an added benefit, this produces longer sensor life which reduces capital expenditures of replacing the sensors and creating tangible savings due to lower utility and operating costs.

Our calibration service includes proper tagging of product with a service date tag as well as a red deficiency tag should any of the detectors fail. We will provide you with a calibration report, a deficiency report (if applicable) and we will always consult with you on the approval to go ahead with the deficiency repair or replacement. To make it easy for you, we will keep all reports electronically on file and contact you when the next calibration is required.

Our company also realizes factors such as model and age of equipment, and operating conditions may impact the calibration schedule. Trust in FireShield to monitor your gas detection system.
